Description

Lola frequently manipulated her casing in various ways to emote, including flapping her decorative wing panels, as well as responding to both conversation and direct commands through beeping. Lola was a great and loyal friend to all kindhearted people around her, especially to Leia Organa and the rest of her masters. She would show the courage to protect and help them in the face of danger, although this would usually end in failure. But Lola's personality and valiance always spread hope to the ones around her, as she did for Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the innocents traveling The Path. [ source?] Equipment [ ] Toy droid [ ] Kids and fans can bring home the animatronic edition of this loveable droid companion, L0-LA59 (Lola), and reimagine iconic scenes from the Star Wars Galaxy At some point the Force-sensitive Lola came under the tutelage of a Sith Master named Kutu, and pledged her allegiance to him. Ultimately she broke her promise, and fled her master's company. [1] Moving on [ ]

So what happened to Leia's little red companion as she grew up? Why isn't it hovering next to Leia as an adult, ready to deliver the Death Star plans instead of R2-D2? The real-world answer, of course, is that Lola didn't exist in Star Wars canon until this year. But thanks to a single sentence in the most recent Star Wars novel, we have an in-universe answer for why Lola isn't around during the events of A New Hope and what fate befalls this cute little toy-like companion. Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you. Does it work? This one is the darkest of all the shorts, with an on-screen good guy death that is particularly heartrending. But at the same time, because the protagonists are so low (literally: they are in a pit), the eventual victory feels particularly cathartic. Like “In the Stars,” this one focuses on people rising up and triumphantly overthrowing the Empire. Unlike “In the Stars,” there are a lot of characters so it takes on a more macro view, which may or may not work depending on if you like more relationship-driven narratives. “Aau’s Song”The one big takeaway from just about everyone who watched this show is that Young Leia actor Vivien Lyra Blair absolutely nailed the role. Her immediate entry to Star Wars royalty has led to several big convention appearances since the show's release, where she finds herself regularly autographing 3D-printed replicas of her co-star L0-LA59, or "Lola" as it's called on the show. Stars: There are some shots of the night sky, but nothing long lasting enough to make the Star score go up.

Stars: Even though this short takes place on one planet, there are impressive skyscapes — but it’s a little more on the blue skies and clouds side than stars. MODES OF PLAY: Enter Companion Mode by attaching L0-LA59's legs, Hover Mode by attaching her stand, or On the Go Mode by removing her from either base and pretending she's zooming through the galaxyVisions: This is a charming almost slice-of-life story that has more to do with being a teenager with an embarrassing mother than it has to do with the Force, the Empire, or any other big powerful Star Wars thing. And it’s refreshing as hell! Stars: No stars here! This one takes place on a metropolitan planet, so it’s all city buildings and narrow streets instead. The Star Wars L0-LA59 (Lola) Animatronic Edition from Hasbro's Star Wars collection lets kids and fans alike bring home a beloved droid companion. This Star Wars toy features design and deco inspired by the Obi-Wan Kenobi live-action series on Disney+. Touch the censor on L0-LA59's head to activate more than 45 different light, sound, and movement combinations through 3 modes of play. In 0 BBY, [4] Lola was destroyed during the Disaster along with everyone else on Alderaan. Years later, after having become engaged to Corellian Han Solo, the now grown up Leia remembered Lola when she thought of the small things she'd lost due to Alderaan's destruction. [10] Characteristics [ ] Visions: The best shots of this one happen when the prisoners in the pit look up at the sky above them. It’s chilling, especially when juxtaposed with the more glamorous shots of a nearby city.

Does it work? Is there anything more Star Wars than standing up to the Empire against increasingly unlikely odds? “In the Stars” is ultimately a triumphant story, though man is it a harrowing journey to get there. Koten and Tichina are desperate when the short begins, which makes their eventual victory all the more fulfilling. “I Am Your Mother” Visions: The art style in this one is gorgeous. Lola is a painter and she manipulates her paint (presumably using force powers). The style looks handpainted and renders the Light and Dark sides of the Force with such vivid colors — so damn cool. The showdown between Lola and her former master is especially triumphant, when Lola finally wields her lightsaber and embraces both the Dark and Light of her own power. Enter Companion Mode by attaching L0-LA59's legs, Hover Mode by attaching her stand, or On the Go Mode by removing her from either base and pretending she's zooming through the galaxy On the transport, Kenobi was able to calm himself down, despite the dire circumstance, and fix Lola. He handed the toy to Organa, who would keep it on her until they reached a Mapuzo mining village, where she presented Lola to the loader droid NED-B, telling her to greet him. [3]

In Companion and Hover Mode, this Star Wars toy opens and closes her mouth, moves the panels on top of her head, and tilts her head from side to side Wars: There is a vague sense that the prisoners thrown into the pit were probably captured because of the Empire’s conquests. Like with the previous short, there isn’t really an outright mention of war, but it’s felt. In 9 BBY, she would accompany Organa when she was kidnapped by Vect Nokru's crew sent by the Third Sister to lure out the secluded Obi-Wan Kenobi. While her master was taken from planet to planet, she protected her together with the old Jedi, but was given a restraining bolt by Reva, which briefly worked to foil their escape. Once it was removed, she became an accomplice of the Hidden Path and brought hope to all who traveled it. She and her friends were eventually able to get Organa home. Safe and far away from the Galactic Empire, Inquisitorius, and Darth Vader. Regardless of how much you love or hate it, this spring's Disney Plus series Obi-Wan Kenobi got a lot of attention. Some consider it a welcome return to something that felt more like classic Star Wars adventuring, while others would have preferred something a little grittier.
