With over seven billion dollars in military equipment left in Afghanistan, it pales in comparison to the nearly 80,000 Afghan allies. I'm disappointed that these studios are ditching some of the 4K UHD format which is clearly the best way to watch movies. Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant follows US Army Sergeant John Kinley (Gyllenhaal) and Afghan interpreter Ahmed (Salim). All advice, including picks and predictions, is based on individual commentators’ opinions and not that of Minute Media or its related brands. The film was later officially titled Guy Ritchie's The Covenant, reportedly to distinguish it from the 2006 film of the same name.

In real life, there are people who helped American's who are now either dead or in hiding because it is known they helped Americans. In that I mean it does not have any of the typical cinematography or triple double cross elements that are in every single one of his movies.Ahmed ends up putting his own life on the line after the Taliban kills his son, and that includes saving the lives of Kinley and others. Seven weeks later, Kinley, having been repatriated to his home in Santa Clarita, California, is completely unaware of how he was saved, but understands Ahmed's role in it. With the help of Kinley and his friends, Ahmed must fight for his life and for the chance to build a new future for himself in America. In need of a replacement, he is introduced to Ahmed Abdullah, a steadfast yet disliked interpreter, who claims he pursues the job only for money.

For the week of June 19th, Walt Disney Home Entertainment will release Avatar: The Way of Water on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D and 4K UHD, as well as Avatar on 4K UHD. Home Entertainment, in association with MGM, has officially announced that it will bring to Blu-ray Guy Ritchie's latest film, The Covenant (2023), starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Antony Starr, Alexander Ludwig, Dar Salim, and Emily Beecham. Burbank, CA, May 9 – Guy Ritchie’s The Covenant from Metro-Goldwyn Mayer will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on June 20. The market share that physical media has is very healthy, and Blu-ray and 4K Blu-ray have done pretty serious numbers. This movie should have raised more awareness about the issue, but it seems most have forgotten about this situation.

The company owns one of the world's deepest libraries of premium film and television content as well as the premium pay television network EPIX, which is available throughout the U.

Gyllenhaal offers a solid turn as the cynical but still duty-bound veteran, and Salim brings real personality and spark to the interpreter with more skills than the average bear. I’m not sure if it was to differentiate itself from the aforementioned movie or Ritchie has a huge ego.Ahmed later saves Kinley's team from being ambushed by a Taliban unit aided by a compromised Afghan National Army soldier, earning Kinley's respect. UHD audience is relatively small, so it probably doesn't make any financial sense to do a 4K release.
