About this deal

Cordless vacuums always have an advantage when it comes to cleaning a car. You don’t have to drag your mains-powered machine out into the driveway, or fumble with extension cords. That’s especially advantageous if you have to street park, since you don’t need to wait for a space outside your own house. MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS WITH BLOWER MODE: with a built-in crevice tool and a wide nozzle, it's more flexible to vacuum and blow any narrow and deep spaces like under bed or behind the furniture. A proper household cordless vacuum employs more sophisticated dirt separation to keep its filters clean. Verdict The controls are very simple. On the handle you’ll find a power button - press once for low power, press again for high, and press again to turn it off.

Inside the dust compartment you’ll find the Cubevac’s fairly rudimentary pre-motor filtration system - a mesh shroud over a pleated paper filter. They both twist out as one unit then separate for cleaning. There’s no post-motor filter accessible to the user. How did you test the Cubevac? If you have some favorite vacuum tools from another machine, Worx thoughtfully includes a 32mm to 35mm adapter so you can use them with this vacuum. I just wish it stored on the unit as I will likely lose it. Products that are easy to use often reflect smart design choices by the manufacturer. In the event of a roadside emergency, for instance, you want a product that will be both straightforward and adjustable. Ease of use can greatly sway a product’s overall rating, which is why our team focuses on the simplicity of each product design prior to and during testing. The Worx Cubevac is perfect for ‘little and often’ type cleaners. It’s versatile, easy to use, and high-quality, so it feels like it’ll last for a long time. Its compact size means it’s great for tight spaces and small cars. Another nice feature is the onboard storage. It means that the brush and crevice accessories are always with you. That crevice accessory also has a hidden benefit. It is extendable to reach into really tight spaces. How else? Cleaning the car. I’m not obsessive, but I do like the inside of my car to be clean – so getting stray grit and fluff from the floor mats is the bare minimum I expect from a car vacuum. The WX030L is a 20V portable cordless vacuum that includes attachments. Is uses any of the Worx 20V batteries and can share its battery with other Worx 20V Power Share tools. What’s in the box?

I headed into the garage with a fully charged battery, expecting to have to go through a couple of charging cycles to complete the process. Wrong! We also tested how good the Cubevac’s supplied attachments are on more stubborn dirt, or in more awkward areas such as down the side of seats or inside cupholders. What’s good about the Worx Cubevac? The hose looks pretty short when stored. When you pull the want out, two things happen. First, the hose expands. WHAT'S INCLUDED: Worx Nitro wet/dry shop vacuum cleaner WX031.9, 1 x crevice nozzle, 1 x 2m hose, 1 x wide nozzle, 1 x shoulder strap [battery and charger not included]The two filters can be cleaned with clear water. The HEPA filter should be replaced once it can no longer be effectively cleaned. I washed the two filters and let them dry for the next use. This brought up my next complaint. There is simply no way to empty the debris bin and clear the filters without getting yourself filthy. My hands were covered in dust after banging off the two filters.

Being cordless is always a boon for a car vac – it’s not always convenient to drag a mains-powered machine out onto the driveway, and if you have to street park you’re limited by whether you can get a space outside your own house.SAME BATTERY, EXPANDABLE POWER: Worx PowerShare Battery is compatible with all Worx 20V, 40V and 80V tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products. Our team prides itself on sharing accurate information on everything related to auto products. We verify each product’s quality through our hands-on research, and our team follows an in-depth testing process for products we review in person. We try to perform in-house testing on real vehicles whenever possible before making our recommendations. This ensures that only products we are passionate about appear in our guides, so you can buy with confidence. Our Research Process Our experts had plenty of great things to say about the ThisWorx vacuum. They named it one of the best portable vacuums of the year and loved its lightweight design and various cleaning attachments. In their research, they found that the ThisWorx product could reach almost every nook and cranny in the vehicle they tested it on, thanks to its extendable head. Best of all, it can be used, year round as wet debris won't do it any harm.

To put it simply, we cleaned a car. The Cubevac got a full and thorough test, vacuuming out nooks and crannies as well as dealing with fluff and grit from the floor mats. LARGER DUST CAPACITY: Compared with other shop vacuums in its class, Worx WX031.9 has a larger dust capacity (8L) to provide enough storage for an entire toilet or long clogged pipe cleaning. Durability is an essential factor our team considers when testing the majority of products we receive. We want the products we test to be of the highest quality, ensuring that each product prioritizes longevity and consistency. This isn’t a powerful cleaner, even on its ‘High’ mode. This was shown when we tried to extract sand from a car mat - we had to go over it several times to get the last bit out, where a more powerful cordless cleaner - or one with a spinning turbine tool - would extract it with ease.Having the tools store onboard is a masterstroke, as it’s all too easy to lose the attachments for a cordless vacuum, while we really like having the stretch hose to make it easier to manoeuvre around the interior. The supplied all-purpose nozzle has a very small cleaning path, which means cleaning larger areas, like the boot floor, takes a lot longer than it should. And unlike some full-sized cordless vacuums, there’s no option for a powered turbo tool, which means you’ll need to manually agitate stubborn dirt like pet hair. If you’re a ‘little and often’ type of car cleaner the Worx Cubevac will be perfect for you. It couldn’t be easier to use and is great for tight spaces and small cars. It feels solid and high-quality and like it will stand up to a lot of dirty work. There are nice rubber feet in all four corners that help keep the vacuum in place on flat surfaces. In the photo above, you can also see the suction end of the hose wand in its stored position. Next to it there’s a release for the dirt bin catch. Having it on the top of the machine is great because you can lower the Cubevac into the bin before you empty it, minimising the dust cloud you often get when disposing of the dirt from a bagless vacuum.
