Cat Lady most certainly was. For starters how could I not read a book with this title? But apart from that I was really glad that I did. This is a special little book of beautiful words. Like the Plant book, this book has bright, quirky illustrations that enhance the content. The puns are cute and the variety of cat breeds represented ensures you'll likely find your favorites. As a proud Cat Lady, I really enjoy finding books aimed at me, snarkily or not. I believe in embracing my weird, and the fact that I have two cats and would happily take in more if mine weren't homicidal little sociopaths is not something I'm particularly ashamed of.
