The bottom of the unit has a memory foam cushion that contours to your legs and ensures you’re never uncomfortable. On the upward-facing side of the product, you’ll find a wrist rest and large mousepad that makes it easy to control your gaming interface. The Sova is generally an easy-to-use lapboard, but it is a big piece of plastic that will be sitting around in your living room. Even if it doesn’t have much of an effect on your gameplay experience, finding a spot to store a lapboard like this is important. Razer's Turret is much smaller and designed to be easily stored, but the Sova is thinner than Corsair's Lapdog and doesn’t detach into two pieces. That made it much easier for me to find a place for it in my living room when not in use. The USB cable that plugs into the computer also has a point where it can disconnect (similar to a wired Xbox 360 controller) close to the board itself, which made putting away the cord a lot easier. Bring a true desktop caliber gaming experience to your living room with the K63 wireless mechanical gaming keyboard (sold separately) and a full-sized mouse pad

If your couch is the most comfortable seat in the house, why would game or work anywhere else? With the Couchmaster Cycon², you don't have to, thanks to its massive adjustable cushions that flank your sides, doubling as armrests, and a large desktop surface. Those cushions are made of sturdy memory foam wrapped in a suede-like material for lasting durability. BOARD IS NOT FIXED - This allows the Couchmaster to be individually adjusted to fit any body size. Get up easy and just push the board to one side. Thanks to its three-part construction, it is... This device includes everything you need to get started. Users will also receive a built-in keyboard and mouse. The hardware connects directly with your PC or console via a wireless USB port. Once fully charged, the Razer Turret Mechanical battery life will last approximately 43 hours. For Keyboard, Mouse, Headset, Game Controllers, and Flash Drives. Whatever you need, power it up. FAST CHARGING FOR YOUR SMARTPHONE OR TABLET

This is another product that’s great if you’re planning on making a long-term investment. Because you can replace the wrist rest and mousepad, you’ll never have to worry about wear-and-tear impacting the viability of the Roccat Sova.If you’re looking for a premium wireless experience, the Razer Turret Wireless is one of your best options. The product is manufactured by Razer, one of the world’s most popular gaming hardware and software providers. Coming in at just over four pounds, this is one of the lightest products on our list. If you’re looking for a portable product that’s easy to travel with, this is an excellent option. One reviewer wrote: “Best couch gaming lapboard. This is a really great lapboard option for anyone gaming on the couch or in a recliner. The build quality is really solid and the number of available ports allows for all of your important peripherals to be plugged in through a single cord.” Size is not to be underestimated as a factor in these tests. Sure, you want a desktop experience on the couch, but you also don’t want a big hunk of plastic taking up space in your living room. The Lapdog and the Sova are hard to hide, and you’ll almost definitely need to dedicate a spot specifically for storing them when they aren’t in use. The turret not only folds up, it comes with a neat little stand for both the mouse and keyboard that displays them nicely while they charge. Because of this, I never had a problem with battery life for either device, which Razer says is up to 40 hours on the mouse and a whopping four months on the keyboard, and they never got in my way. You’ll benefit from four USB 3.0 inputs that allow you to control your keyboard, mouse, and gaming headphones. It’s an excellent choice for Xbox One users. Gamers benefit from up to 32 feet of range without any lag increases.

It’s the age-old gaming dilemma: the desk or the couch? You know you should probably sit at the desk, but that big comfy gaming couch is calling to you, and it’s so easy to hook your PC or gaming system up to your big screen TV. Good news! Gaming lapboards give you the perfect excuse to play right from your bed or couch. They’re also supremely portable devices if you plan on connecting your keyboard or mouse to a computer at a different location. I got it with the wireless K63, and never really considered other options until I found out that you can also fit a G915 TKL in it.Using a mouse and keyboard on a couch can be oddly uncomfortable. It puts your body in a very different position than it’s used at a desk, and a good lapboard has to either compensate for that, or be flexible enough to let you find the position best for you. If you’re going to be playing for a long time, the lapboard needs to be comfortable sitting on your legs and not hold your arms and wrists in a position that will strain you over time. Cushions, wrist rests, and being able to move around easily on your lap go a long way to letting you feel at ease while playing. In addition to being comfortable, a good lapboard has to be usable—both when you are and aren’t playing games. With the exception of the Razer Turret, these lapboards can be big and heavy, and where you put them when they aren’t in use isn’t something most people think about until they suddenly have a 2+ foot long keyboard tray taking over their coffee table. How easy cables are to manage and if you can get up to use the bathroom without throwing your setup into disarray make a real difference in how willing you’ll be to actually use your lapboard. A lapdesk is a handy accessory that puts a flat surface on your lap, allowing easy access and use of a keyboard and mouse, a laptop, or other devices while sitting on a couch or lounging in bed. Beyond adding comfort, better ergonomics, and more stability when gaming or working in a relaxed position, lapdesks help prevent some devices from overheating, a common issue when you’ve got electronics sitting on your lap. For a bit less, you can get the Couchmaster Lapboard², which doesn’t include the side cushions, but still gives you a secure gaming surface for most sizes of keyboards and mice. This one also has six USB 3.0 ports, an internal cable management system to prevent tangles, and a comfortable, non-slip exterior that promotes speed and accuracy, even when you’re sitting on the couch.
