Like many fans, I remember the Johnnie Walker bottle from the first film, so it was a unique privilege to collaborate with Johnnie Walker on designing a totally original, custom bottle for the new movie. The new expression was created by Johnnie Walker master blender Jim Beveridge with the film’s director, Denis Villeneuve, with one eye . It is a combination of more than 30 single malts and grain whiskies, blended in Black Label style, but with a smokier twist.

The bidder understands that once you have bid, you are stating you understand this and that the checks stated above have been carried out and you are happy with the lot's condition. Any investment and purchase made, or action(s) taken based upon (information in) the Service may and will involve significant risk (such as, but not limited to loss, total loss). Apparently created as a prop exclusively for the film, hardcore fans have gone to great lengths and significant costs to have said bottle reproduced privately. Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director’s Cut is a new Scotch Whisky created by master blender Jim Beveridge in collaboration with visionary filmmaker Denis Villeneuve. With our trademark smokiness and contemporary twist, Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director’s Cut has sweet fruity vanilla flavours and is bottled at 49% ABV both for added intensity and as a nod to the futuristic period in which the film is set. Slight sherry notes are present offering dried fruits – prunes and figs alongside wisps lingering oak char and delicate smoke. Bottled at 49% abv – a nod to 2049, the year in which the new film is set – it is also stronger than the standard Black Label (40% abv). I hope that i im going to sell this piece in future or in 2049 i will open the bottle and "I will become a replicant".

JW fans will also rejoice in the fact that this was made in one batch, so no worries about consistency. It’s certainly got more immediate oomph than the standard Black Label, but whilst the sugar and fruit aromas seems more defined at 49%, there’s a double-edged sword (or blade as it were) at play here – in terms of a fair bite of alcohol being delivered too at the same time. This lot is being sold by either; 1) a non-UK seller or 2) a VAT Registered Business, and is therefore subject to VAT.
